Obituary

Thomas Edward Bellah "Tom" age 49 of Plano, Texas entered into the arms of his Friend and Savior Jesus Christ on May 22, 2015 at 12:22 pm. Tom was born on March 23, 1966 in Flint, Michigan to Clarence "Jack" and Norleen Bellah (DeMott). Tom attended Bethel Assembly of God as a small child. In his pre-teen to adult years he then attended Harvest Time Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Tom was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Navy before he attended Ozark Bible Institute (1986) where he met his wife Barbara "Barbie" Kemp-Bellah and was married in 1987. Briefly the two of them sang, and Tom would preach at different venues around the U.S. Tom was a licensed Funeral Director and serviced several communities in California for over eleven years before entering the automotive retail field where he still holds the record of selling 26 vehicles in one month at Reynolds Lincoln in Norman Oklahoma. The Bellah family moved to the Dallas/Plano, Texas area in 1999 where he continued this profession until his passing. You always knew when Tom entered the room because the laughter would immediately begin. Tom loved to cook, and even perfected his own pizza recipe for sauce and dough making Papa Bellah Pizza. Tom also loved spending time, and having fun with his family. Tom was preceded in death by Grandparents James & Ada Bellah, Oscar & Lula DeMott, Uncles Jim & Weldon Bellah, and Forrest DeMott. Is survived by: Son Jordan (Erin Lobb) of Visaila, CA; daughter Jacklyn (Lance Petty) of Argyle, TX; and son Andrew with wife Amy (Pridgen) and granddaughter Madison (1 year) of Douglas, GA. Mother of his children Barbara "Barbie" Kemp-Bellah. Parents Clarence "Jack" & Norleen Bellah of Columbiaville, MI; Father and Mother-in-law: J.W. & Velma Kemp. Oldest sister: Nancy Abbey of Flushing, MI, youngest sister Sharon (Jerry Taylor) of Grand Blanc, MI; younger brothers Andrew (fiance Alyson Lambert) of Davison, MI, and Forrest Bellah of Columbiaville, MI. Special mention of friends Debra Dickens and her father Lew White. Numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, brothers and sisters-in-laws. Memorial service will held Monday, May 25, 2015 at 5 in the evening at: Florence Holiness Church at 1800 Florence Road; Keller, TX 76262 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tom's memory to help cover funeral cost would be greatly appreciated.
