Veronica Emily Haborak was born on December 26th, 1924 and passed to the next life on December 14th, 2017. She was the youngest of six children raised in Bridgeport, CT by her parents Joseph and Veronica Haborak. "Ronnie" to her family & friends and "Baba" to her grandchildren graduated from Harding High School. She worked as an Egg Candler, packaged ice cream for Sealtest and worked in Sikorsky Aircraft during World War II. She married Paul Bellotto in August 1946. They had a son, Paul Thomas in June of 1948 and a son, Dennis in May of 1953. In 1959 they moved to Monroe, CT. Ronnie worked briefly in the high school cafeteria and then took a position as the police radio dispatcher for the Town of Monroe, retiring in 1986 after 27 years of service. She remained in Monroe until January of 2012 when she moved to Dallas, TX and lived with her son Dennis. She is survived by Dennis, her daughter-in-law, Harriet Bellotto; grandchildren, Tanya and Michael Bellotto; and great-grandchildren, Kahla Bellotto, Tillman Bellotto, Brady and Ella McDonnell. She will be remembered for being adventurous, generous and independent.
