Betty L. Eason

October 12, 1946 – December 30, 2025

Age 79

Betty L. Eason passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on October 12, 1946, Betty was known for her loving heart, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to family and service. Her home was always open, a place of warmth and welcome for all.

Betty faithfully served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in numerous capacities, including Primary President, Young Women's President, Mission Ward Leader, and many others. Her life was a testament to faith, kindness, and service.

She loved to travel and explore new cultures, living in Germany twice and visiting England, Italy, Holland, France, and Switzerland. Betty worked for many years in Arlington ISD as a secretary in Special Services, where she supported and cared for special needs teenagers. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment with them.

Betty had a deep appreciation for the arts and studied dance as a teenager, continuing to enjoy church dances throughout her life. Her hobbies included cake decorating, candy making, reading, event planning, and attending plays, musicals, and ballets.

She is survived by her daughter Theresa Mendoza and spouse Rudy Mendoza; her son James Eason and spouse Nicole Eason; eight grandchildren—Victoria Mendoza-Kava, Cristobal Mendoza, Micaela Landman, Isabella Mendoza, Hannah Eason, Porter Eason, Claire Eason, and Trinity Eason—and six great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
