Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of Betty Lynn Nieczyporowicz announces her passing on October 25, 2025.

Born on June 9, 1964, in Fort Worth, Betty engaged life with boundless enthusiasm. She didn't know how to do things in small ways. Her lively spirit made an adventure of even the most ordinary incidents effortlessly. She had a sense of fun that gave birth to unforgettable moments for those of us fortunate enough to be in her orbit. She told the most outlandish stories, animated with hilarious gestures and made sure everyone was having as much fun as she was. Betty celebrated the tiniest of joys in ways that left a permanent smile in the hearts of those she shared them with.

With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, she earned degrees in Public Relations (University of Oklahoma) and Nursing (Texas Women's University). Betty's unconditional acceptance and passion for people made her an exceptional nurse where she generously shared love, comfort, and care to all her patients. She also found deep fulfillment working with children in local theatre. Betty volunteered her many creative talents in costuming, coaching, theatre administration, and anywhere else she could indulge her hobby, even taking the stage in a few small roles.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Lockhart and brother James Lockhart. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Leon Nieczyporowicz; beloved children Noel, Victor, and Kara Nieczyporowicz; mother, Paula Lockhart; sisters Susan Davis (Sheldon) and Janice Roy (Brett), as well as her nephew, Kyle Davis and niece, Haley Davis (Dalton Boston); and many cherished extended relatives and friends.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at North Dallas Funeral Home located at 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234. Betty's children request you bring a favorite photo of Betty and a note telling the story of the photo. She was a vital force, with the sweetest of hearts, joyful spirit, and a life so abundantly lived. Betty's is a memory incapable of fading.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Betty's honor to Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (myasthenia.org) or North Texas Food Bank (ntfb.org).
