Obituary

Billie Grace Dover was born in Ranger, TX on February 7, 1935, and went to be in the arms of God on October 31, 2024. She was the daughter of Claude and Ruby Reid. She had been suffering from dementia and AFib and now is free from the restrictions and confines of both.

Billie is survived by one sibling, Juanita Furr, and two loving daughters, Judy Paschall (husband Gary Paschall), and Cindy Gordon. Additionally, she has three grandsons: Joshua Harless(wife Melinda), Michael Paschall(wife Cindy) and Clint Paschall (wife Nicholle) and has five great-grandchildren: Brady and Moira Harless, and Alex, Jacob and Victoria Paschall.

She inherited Usher's Syndrome(Deaf and blind) and went to Texas School for the Deaf where she did well in her classes and was also head cheerleader. She loved going to TSD and had many friends from her years there. After completing high school, as a young person, she continued her education at a Dallas business school. She also attended Richland College as an older adult.

Billie married George Gordon(deceased) and had two daughters. Years after the divorce, she married William Dover(deceased) and lived in East Texas. Upon his passing, she moved back to Dallas to be closer to family and friends.

Because the onset of blindness did not seriously begin to affect her until her late 30's, mom had a career working with circuit boards. She worked with Hughes Aircraft in Culver City, CA and Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX. She enjoyed working at both companies.

She also enjoyed arts and crafts until her vision made it impossible to make things, use Sorenson, or even watch television. Communication method changed, and we spelled into her hands using ASL.

Billie was gracious and kind and loving. We celebrate both her and her life. We will see you again.
