BILLY RAGIN BRISCOE

August 15, 1940 to January 15, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of a beloved husband, father, and friend. Billy Ragin Briscoe left us on January 15, 2025, at the age of 84. After a long-fought battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully with family near his home in Plano, Texas.

Surviving Bill is his wife Janet Briscoe, their daughters Lisa Briscoe and Laurie Briscoe, children Greg Briscoe, Melanie Briscoe-Galinger, Brian Briscoe and Stacy Briscoe, Sheila Longfors, Donnie Benson, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and all their families. He is also survived by his sister Dorthy Jean Briscoe–Davis, and his brothers Jimmy Briscoe, Donnie Briscoe, and many more loved family members.

Bill Briscoe was a son of Willard Wilson Briscoe and Nora Pauline King-Briscoe. He was born in Walters, Oklahoma and he was the oldest of six siblings.

Spurred from the humble beginnings of his life, Bill was driven with untold grit and determination to pursue a successful life in business. As an entrepreneur, Bill was a natural. He had born talent and style; he was adventurous; he was an extraordinary visionary; and he was always working, even at happy hour!

Bill touched a vast number of people throughout his life, young and old. He had friendships that spanned his lifetime. He had an entourage of friends that were like family. If you met Bill, even briefly, he was someone you would never forget. He loved people. He was truly magnetic.

A small intimate service is planned for Bill. The family sends sincere thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. We ask that you cherish your memories of him. Send him a special prayer or even a toast to a true one of kind person…a legend!
