A Memorial Service for Raleigh Bailey Blakely Jr., 62 of Dallas will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 22, 2013 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano. Raleigh was born on May 29, 1950 to the late Raleigh Bailey Blakely Sr. and June Taylor Blakely. He graduated form SMU and was a property manager and commercial real estate builder. Raleigh was a founding member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church. He is survived by his son, Raleigh Bailey Blakely III; daughter, Carrie Daugherty and husband Nick; Grandson, Zachary Daugherty; sister, Linda Parker and husband, Jack; Brothers Bruce Blakely and Rex Blakely and wife, Penny; stepmother, Vicki Blakely, Uncle Jimmy Taylor and wife Millie; aunt Margaret and numerous nieces and nephews .
