Bo Åke Nilsson

1944 – 2025

Bo Åke Nilsson, 81, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. Born in Kalmar, Sweden, Bo's life was one of curiosity, adventure, and connection.

A lifelong engineer, Bo spent his career with Ericsson, where his work took him around the world. He lived in Sweden, Mexico, the United States, Australia, China, and Saudi Arabia—leaving behind not only technical expertise, but friendships and memories that spanned continents.

Those who knew Bo will remember his quiet strength, his kindness, and his love of travel and discovery.

Bo is survived by his beloved son, Per Nilsson, who carries forward his father's spirit of integrity and wonder.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Unity of Dallas, Myrtle Hall, 6525 Forest Lane, Dallas, Texas 75218.
