John Howard Bounds II, husband and father, died on April 4, 2021, in Irving, Texas. He was born in Wink, Texas on July 13, 1954 to John and Barbara Bounds, and resided in Irving most of his life. John was an avid soccer fan and would referee at many of the local games. He supported Special Olympics as a volunteer organizer for many years and also participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's for the last several years. John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Barbara Bounds. He is survived by his wife, Connie; his children, Jonathan Bounds; Daniel Bounds; and Leena Taylor and husband Bobby; and 3 grandchildren. John is also survived by his siblings, Christy West and husband Glenn of Lake Kiowa, TX; Frank Bounds of Monahans, TX; Nanci Parkhurst and husband Ken of Dallas, TX; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. A memorial service is set for Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home in Irving.
