On Friday, October 25th 2019, John Austin Burtis, loving husband, father, and grandfather was called to heaven. John is survived by his wife Pam, daughter Ginger, son Austin (Michelle), grandson AJ, nieces, nephews, a host of extended family members, and a multitude of individuals whose lives he has touched. John was born June 30, 1941 in Denison, Texas. He was a third- generation pharmacist and had Pharmacies in Denison and Irving, Texas. He was loved by both employees and customers. Ginger and Austin were blessed to have their dad as a best friend. He was known as a very giving person, had a great sense of humor and was a role model and hero to many.
