Jeanine Kay Byers was born October 7, 1952 in Honolulu Hawaii to Betty Jean and Marion "Mac" McCullough. She passed away on November 24 in Dallas Texas surrounded by her loved ones. Jeanine worked as a nurse most of her life and always enjoyed helping others. She received her nursing degree from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. Shortly after graduating she moved to Austin Texas and worked as a nurse at the University of Texas Student Health Center. Known as a book worm, she continued her education for most of her life. She married and had two children, Lauren and Brent Haggard. She was a very dedicated and loving mother. In 1998 she married for a second time to Dennis Byers and settled in Mesquite, Texas where she was a very dedicated step mother as well. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Dennis Byers, her mother Betty Jean McCullough, her sister Jacqueline File, her niece and nephew, children Lauren and Brent, and one grand child. A memorial service is being held Saturday November, 29th at 1pm at Aria Funeral Home located at 19310 Preston Road Dallas, TX 75252. We love you, we miss you, you will always be in our hearts!!
