Bob W. Bysom passed away peacefully on October 17, 2017 in Dallas Texas at the age of 84. He was born in Denver, Colorado which he loved and considered his home. He had many fond memories of fishing, hunting and camping in the mountains when he was young. His life was full of adventures including service in the Navy SeaBees (Construction Battalion) where he participated in the construction of the piers in the Philippines. He also flew airplanes, supervised the construction of airports, missile silos, theaters, hospitals, stadiums and high rises, competed in pistol target shooting (winning many trophies) and riding his beloved motorcycles. He loved helping friends and relatives with various home improvement projects. He resided in Denver throughout his life, except when work took him to other places for a year or two (Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Washington, New Mexico, Idaho & Florida). He definitely had a wanderlust and enjoyed experiencing new places. In retirement, he resided in Arizona during the winter months. He continued to enjoy his passion for motorcycles well into his 70's. He lived life large and did things his way. In 2011 he had a motorcycle accident which necessitated his move to Dallas Texas to be with his daughter and son in-law. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Lucille. He is survived by his daughter Terry and her husband Mark, his sister Beverly King & her husband Tommy, nieces and nephews Lisa King, Chris King, Tony King & his wife Vicki and their two daughters (Alex and Sam), and Lynette King & her husband Don.
