Carolyn Aldrich McCamey, age 73, passed away in Dallas on August 7, 2026.

Carolyn was born in Dallas in January of 1953 and lived her whole life in Texas. She worked at CCSMI Dallas as a State Compliance and Audit Manager until retiring in May of 2026. Carolyn graduated from Byran Adams High School and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was a life-long member of St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Carolyn is survived by her brother, Clayton McCamey and his wife Kimberly; sister-in-law Kathy Snyder and her husband Ed; nieces Heather McCamey, Katie Richmond-McCamey (wife Brandy), Olivia Linn, and nephew Michael McCamey; grand-niece London McCamey and grand-nephew Raegan McCamey. Carolyn is pre-deceased by her parents Phyllis and Clifford McCamey and brother Edward McCamey.

Carolyn loved playing bingo and card games with friends and family. She will be cherished and missed.

A memorial service will be held at Chapel of our Savior, St. John’s Episcopal Church, 848 Harter Rd, in Dallas on Saturday, August 15 at 1:00 pm, with reception to follow. Private interment will be held at a later date.
