Carolyn Ruth Robinson Wilson, aged 70, passed away on Monday April 8th 2024.

She is preceded in death by her father Roy Robinson Jr. and her mother Ruth Stauss Robinson. Carolyn is survived by her son Terry Roy Wilson, her two sisters Anna Robinson Strait and Barbara Robinson Itani, her brother in-laws William Perry Strait and Talal Adnan Itani, as well as her three loving nieces and nephew.

Carolyn, born in Louisville, Kentucky, lived the majority of her life in New Orleans, Louisiana, finally moving to Plano, Texas following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Carolyn was a registered nurse, working in the O.R. at Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans for 26 years, several of which she worked as charge nurse. She spent an additional 18 years working as a home health nurse in Texas. Those close to Carolyn appreciated her infectious humor and admired her tenacious strength. She was an avid George Strait fan, she enjoyed traveling, outings with family, and afternoon naps.

A private memorial will be held for Carolyn in Plano Texas. Burial will take place at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in Carolyn's name.
