In Loving Memory of Celestine Akinyi Omwony 06/05/2003 - 03/17/2026

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Celestine Akinyi Omwony, which occurred on 17th March 2026.

Celestine was the only daughter of Christian Clement and Marion-Mercy Boyani Omwony, a loving protective sister to Ambassador Mich, and a treasured granddaughter to the late Ambassador Maurice Omwony, Celestine Omwony, and Eunice Nyamokami.

She was dearly loved by her many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Celestine will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the love she shared with family and friends.

She was an angel from heaven who walked amongst us. She will dearly miss and forever cherished.
