Chandra Denita Eastman Hinkle
November 23, 1960 - October 8, 2023 Mrs. Chandra Hinkle, a devoted wife, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on Sunday October 8, 2023, at Medical City of Arlington. Mrs. Hinkle was born on November 23, 1960, in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Evelyn Pettis and Robert Eastman Sr. Mrs. Hinkle is a 1979 graduate of Warren Central High School. On July 17, 1982, she married Mr. David Hinkle. To this Union of 42 years, two loving children were born Anetria Hinkle Dixon, and her baby boy Kristopher Jerrell Hinkle. Mrs. Hinkle served her country and joined the United States Army Reserve and Active Duty and retired after 32 years of service. Mrs. Hinkle recently retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons after ten years of service. During her time in service, Mrs. Hinkle earned an associate degree in Banking and Finance from Hinds Community College, bachelor's degree in business administration from Lewis University, and a master's degree in public administration from Columbia Southern University. At her passing, Mrs. Hinkle was a contractor for Aston Carter. Chandra was a wonderful woman who believed in enjoying life and taking care of her family and others. She loved God and her family more than anything. She joined the St. John's Church Unleashed in Grand Prairie, TX and was a faithful member of the church until her death. Chandra is proceeded in death by her mother Evelyn Pettis, her father, Robert Eastman Sr. and sisters Trina Eastman and Sylvia Moore. Mrs. Hinkle leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years, David Hinkle; one daughter, Anetria Hinkle Dixon (Dexter) of Arlington, TX; one son Kristopher Hinkle (Dora) of Arlington, TX; Five sisters, Tamargia Pettis of Irving, TX, Marika Stimage of Arlington, TX, Elizabeth Stewart and Shelia Smalls (Fredrick) of Dallas, TX, LaVette Eastman of Vicksburg, MS; Two brothers, Robert Pettis of Terre Haute, IN and Robert Eastman Jr. and Curtis Eastman of Vicksburg, MS; Six grandchildren and a host of Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
