Charles Brooks Walker, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2023, in Plano, Texas.

He was born on November 22, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio, to Charles D. Walker and Marjorie B. Walker.

He was proud of his prosperous career as he was employed for fifteen years at the AC Nielsen Company in Chicago, Illinois; Marketing Corporation of America in Westport,Connecticut and ACT Media Promotion Fulfillment in Iowa. He founded Promotion Support Services with partner Dave Bender in Rock Island, Illinois, from which he retired in 1999. Brooks loved his family, The Chicago Bears, and his daily Sudoku puzzles. He was also a United States Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by wife Suzanne; a son Jon Brooks Walker and partner Sara C Jones of Arkansas; a daughter Dori Sue Berg and son in law, Joel Berg of Plano Texas; grandchildren Alec Brooks Walker, Brady Jon Walker and Parks Mason Lastovica of Arkansas, Jonathon Christopher Berg and Aubrey Suzanne Berg of Texas and Great Grandson Grayson Ryan Fireston of Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, he requests donations be given to Harbor Chase Living Facility, 5340 Town Square Drive Plano, Texas 75024. This is to give back to the incredible caregivers who became friends and family to him.
