Christine Rennae Rauschenberg was born on January 24, 1997, at 8:39 p.m. in McKinney, Texas, to Michelyne and Virgil Rauschenberg. She was a happy child with five stepbrothers and one stepsister plus one biological sister, Nikki. Michelyne and Virgil divorced in 1999. On November 9, 2006, both Nikki and Chrissy's grandparents were appointed Permanent Managing Conservators. At that time Chrissy chose to have her last name changed to Kesterson.

Chrissy went to high school at Centennial in Frisco, Texas, and graduated from Serenity High School in McKinney, Texas, May 2015. After high school in September 2015 Chrissy enrolled in Paul Mitchell the School. In middle school she was active in sports: soccer, volleyball, and basketball. In high school she chose to focus on basketball and was selected to be on the JV basketball team in her freshman year.

Chrissy accepted Christ as her personal Savior on May 1,2007 and was baptized on May 6, 2007 at Stonebriar Community Church. She was very active in church activities, camps, and working with young children on Sundays.

Chrissy is survived by her mother Michelyne Wright and step father David Wright of Ft. Worth Texas; grandmother of Frisco, Texas; sister and brother in law Nichole and Harley Howe and nephews Ray, James, Michael and Aaron of Duncan Oklahoma; half-brother Andy of Spring Branch, Texas; step sister Amanda Wright and friend Elijah Walker of Grand Prairie, Texas; uncle Jeff Kesterson of Grand Prairie, Texas; cousin Cassie Harrell of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandmother Patrica Santore of Mancelona, Michigan; and half-brothers Jesse, Joel, Hooper Lynn, and Shane of Mancelona Michigan. Many more cousins and Aunts.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Church, 5625 Preston Road, Frisco, Texas, 75034.

Chrissy will be lovingly remembered.
