Obituary

Claire, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, dedicated teacher, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on September 29th, 2025.

A woman of immense warmth, kindness, and quiet strength. She spent her life putting others first—whether in the classroom, in her community, or in the heart of her family. Her passion for helping others touched countless lives, and her gentle guidance and love were constants to those fortunate enough to know her.

Family was the center of her world. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughter Gemma, and a joyful grandmother to her grandchildren Jessica and James. Her marriage to Kevin was a true partnership built on love, respect, and laughter, and their bond served as a shining example of commitment and care.

Known for her beautiful cakes, she had a gift for turning simple ingredients into edible works of art—each one made with love, and often shared with neighbors, and friends. Baking was more than a hobby; it was one of the many ways she expressed her generosity and creativity.

She is survived by her husband Kevin, her daughter Gemma and son in-law Will, her grandchildren Jessica and James, her sister Kathy, and her beloved mother Margaret. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, wisdom, and sweetness—in every sense of the word.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of her life will be held on October 9th, 2025, at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in her name to Go2 for Lung Cancer at www.go2.org, reflecting her lifelong commitment to caring for others.
