Larry Allen Cohen was born on January 8, 1951 in Janesville, Wisconsin to the late Julius and Ruth Cohen and passed away on January 29, 2018 in Plano, Texas at the age of 67. Larry grew up in Janesville, Wisconsin and graduated from Parker High School in 1969. He worked in the plumbing wholesale business as part owner of CB&K Supply for 50 years. He was an avid golfer, a fan of the Packers and Badgers and most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. They lit up his life and truly made him so proud. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was funny, quick witted, had a one-liner for everything and told the best jokes. He was preceded in death by his parents Julius and Ruth Cohen. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Emrick Cohen; his sons, Nate Cohen (Colleen Dunphy) and Jay Cohen (Darci Phillips); his grandchildren Ashley Boissoneault, Magnolia Gravert, Emma Cohen, Jakob Cohen, Judah Cohen and Emrick Cohen; his siblings, Ralph Cohen (Sandy) and Linda Connors (Brian); and several extended family and lifelong friends. There will be a celebration of life in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Aria Memorial Chapel located at 19310 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas 75252. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Larry's name to the Dallas Zoo where he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
