Michael Ray Copeland, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2017 at the age of 71 years. Mike was born on November 27, 1945 in Pinebluff, Arkansas to the late Lee Andrew Copeland and Mildred Faye Pickens. He was raised in Modesto, California by Frances June Copeland Belvins and Paul Copeland. Mike spent many years as a truck driver and, in 1959, moved to Dallas, Texas to be closer to family. He loved fishing and spending time with family. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Frances June Belvins. He is survived by his children; Michael Copeland, Randy Copeland, and Stacy Speck, brother, Paul Copeland, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four nephews, two nieces, as well as extended family and friends.
