Rhonda Jane Covalt, 58, of Denison, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2015 in Denison. Born on April 2, 1956 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Mrs. Covalt was a Methodist and a member of American Legion Post 62 in Denison where she was part of the Riders Club and the Ladies Auxiliary. She liked to fish as well as go on hunting trips with her husband. She also enjoyed going out to eat. She is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, Larry Peister; three children, Christopher Covalt, James Cox and Cassi Covalt; two sisters, Becky Max and Mona Gallenbeck; a grandson, Brentley James Maae; and her dogs, Lee Ching, Tucker and Taz.
