Randall (Randy) Darren Cox, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2017 at the age of 50. He was born in Dallas, Texas and resided in Plano, Texas. He attended Plano Senior High School and worked as President at Plans by Design, a family business. He so enjoyed life and believed in living it to the fullest. Cooking was an integral part of Randy's life and it gave him great pleasure for others to enjoy the foods he prepared. He had a passion for hockey, music, fishing, biking, and being outdoors. Randy was a caring guy who would go to great lengths to help others. He had a very witty sense of humor and always enjoyed making others laugh. He made friends very easily and enjoyed meeting new people. He was very compassionate towards animals and dogs in particular often participating in fundraising efforts to aid in the placement of rescue dogs. Randy is survived by his beloved wife Melissa and dear daughter Britny, their only child; his mother JuDee Cox, father Neal Cox, sister Marci Crawford, brother-in-law Jason, brother Davin Cox, sister-in-law Melissa, mother-in-law Cynthia Carlson, father-in-law Neal Carlson, brother-in-law Wade and sister-in-law Rainee. Nieces and nephews include, Taylor Ashcraft, Jostin Crawford, Colton Crawford and Annabelle Cox. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on January 13, 2018 at Dr. Pepper StarCenter, 12700 N. Stemmons Freeway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
