Mildred Amelia Daffron born to immigrant parents in Chicago, Illinois Nov. 30, 1929 passed over the rainbow to be with friends and family. She passed peacefully, painlessly and comfortably at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a teacher in the Chicago School District before moving to Texas. She received her Master's Degree in psychology from North Texas State University and counseled in the Carrollton School District for many years. She was dedicated to her children and their friends, her grandchildren, her friends, and her pets. She is survived by her two loving sons Jayme and Logan, grandchildren Gabriel, Justin, Santiago, Amelia, Jaimito, Abraham, and Sara, and great grandchildren Judah and Austin. The memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. at Christ The King Church, 8017 Preston Rd. in Dallas, TX. Reception afterwards is at Churchill Estates, 8501 Lullwater St. In lieu of flowers and booze, please donate to your local performing or visual arts organization.
