A Celebration of Life service for James Everett Dalton, 87 of Dallas will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Church of the Holy Communion in Dallas. He went to be with Our Heavenly Father on February 5, 2017. He was born on May 15, 1929 in Arlington, Texas to the late Emmitt Britton and Jessie (Ledford) Dalton. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Communion. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a general contractor for over 44 years and builder of the Southern Cross Ranch in Forney Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, 1 sister and his precious wife of over 55 years, Eunice Lee Dalton. He is survived by his adoring children, Bruce G. Dalton and wife, Wendy of Forney, Stephanie D. Boettigheimer and husband, Larry of Kaufman, and James B. Dalton and wife, Monica of Richardson; precious grandchildren, Michael Dalton, Courtney Shook, Brittany Dalton, Landry Dalton, Blake Dalton and Abby Dalton. He is also survived by his brothers, Dan Dalton, Logan Dalton, and Dick Dalton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
