Obituary

Rosemary Dearing passed away May 6, 2019 in Dallas, Texas from complications of ovarian cancer. Rosemary was born in Detroit, Michigan January 12, 1936. She graduated from Dominican High School in 1954 and went to work in the mortgage industry, where she would enjoy a 42 year career. In 1955 she married Leonard Kawecki and they welcomed a daughter, Linda Susan, in 1957. Rosemary and Leonard later divorced and she married Richard Dearing in 1964. The family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1968 and resided there until 1988 when Rosemary and Richard opted for a change of scenery to Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1996, they moved to Dallas, Texas to be close to their grandchildren. After Richard passed away, Rosemary moved to the independent living at CC Young, where she discovered a new world of activities and friendships. She often spoke of how kind all the residents and staff of CC Young were. Rosemary never met a stranger and was blessed by many lifelong friends all across the country. She will be remembered for her generosity and gift of gab. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dearing. She is survived by daughter, Linda Susan Kawecki, son-in-law D. Michael Hellinghausen, and grandchildren Mathilde Beryl Hellinghausen, Paul Michael Hellinghausen, and Adam Daniel Hellinghausen.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 4pm St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale, Dallas, TX.
