Deborah Jeanne
Finch
Dec 4, 1961 — Jan 4, 2026
Debbie Finch (64) Born December 4, 1961, died of cancer January 4, 2026.
She had beautiful blue eyes, a generous spirit and fierce independence. She was an athlete and an avid sports junkie who played baseball, softball and even bowling. To many she was a world class organizer, and tech guru lifesaver. Special thanks to the "Connections Word Games Gang" who shared their scores and gave Debbie something to look forward to each morning!
Debbie was born in Houston, TX, graduated from Gainesville High School in1980, and was a graduate of SFASU with a B.S. 1986. She was a reading teacher at Griffin MS in Lewisville ISD before moving on to the field of computer technology. Among places she worked included Baron and Budd, Lori's Gifts and most recently Waters, Kraus, Paul and Siegel.
Debbie is survived by her parents David and Penny Finch, sister Julie Parker (Tommy), nephew Justin, niece Megan Espy (Tucker) and great nieces and nephews. She was an amazing life partner to Karen for almost 40 years who will miss her with every breath.
Debbie didn't want to have a funeral, because she wanted people to focus on helping others. Debbie's heart was so big that she made a point of donating to charitable causes making it her monthly duty. She was known to come home without cash after leaving with it, because she bought food for someone along the way that she felt needed some help. She hoped people would honor her memory by donating to Love Pacs East-LISD in lieu of flowers.
The family would like to thank VNA Hospice for their excellent care and attention during this trying year and a half. Kindness and compassion were provided with every visit.
