Doggett, Elaverne McClain Born on January 3, 1922 in Athens, TX and passed away on December 29, 2013 in Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy B. Doggett, Jr; parents, Jule Bennett and Mattie Dennis McClain; brother, Jule Dean McClain; grandson, Robert E. Brownfield; and great-grandson, Alec J. Lewis. She is survived by her children, Alicia Cassity-Grimes & husband, Claude Grimes and James Doggett & wife, LouAnn Doggett; grandchildren: Donna Brownfield, James Percival, Wade Percival, Justin Doggett, and Shelly Lewis; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
