Dolores "Dee" Vinson, 83, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 peacefully at home and with family by her side. She was born in New Jersey on August 30, 1939.

She enjoyed being around people, going to Karaoke, attending family events and being around her friends. She loved to cook and participate at church gatherings as well as the VFW and American Legion. Those who knew her, knew she was one of a kind.

Dee is survived by her 2 sons and 2 daughters, including Leslie "L.D." Vinson, Jr. and wife Bonnie, David Vinson, Sherry Vinson Starr, and April Vinson.

She is also survived by the following grandchildren:  David Vinson, Jr., Alisha Walker, Dorie Hutchinson, D'Ann Atherton, Ashley Vinson, Heaven-Leigh Vinson, Taylor Andrews, Autumn Vinson, Cheyenne Valentine, Jessie Brown, and Brandie Brown.

Dolores was one of 9 children and she is survived by 4 of her siblings, including Chuck Pedroso and wife Kathy of Krum, Texas, Rose Ann Wise and husband Dave of Fulshear, Texas, Nancy Klessing and husband David of Wisconsin, and Daryl Naze and wife Christine of Wisconsin.

She also leaves behind her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, other family members, and dear friends.

Preceding her in death were both of her parents, 4 siblings, and a granddaughter, Christie Vinson.

Dee's Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Shady Shores Baptist Church, which is located at 401 W Shady Shores Road, Shady Shores, Texas. Interment at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas, Texas will follow the service.
