Donald Richard Burr, aged 76, passed away on Wednesday the 25th of June, 2025.

Don was born March 24th, 1949 in Culver City, California. After moving from Manhattan Beach, California; he settled in Carrollton, Texas where he and his wife started a family and he worked as a salesman for Lindenmeyr Monroe (formerly Olmsted-Kirk) for over 25 years. Don will be remembered for his quick wit, delicious cooking, and devotion to those he loved. Known as a loyal family man, Don could light up a room with his presence and will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.

He is survived by his Wife of 35 years, Cynthia Burr, his children Alison Shankle (Nicholas) and Matthew Burr (Samantha), his Sister Victoria Burr Valenzuela (Troy), and his Grandchildren Sage Shankle and Cohen Shankle.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 23rd at 10am. Relatives and friends are welcome to celebrate Donald's life at the Church following the service.
