Donald Keith Caperton, of Dallas, born August 8, 1951, to John and Vanda Caperton, died peacefully February 23, 2025.

Don lived his life in the Dallas area and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1969. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends and was a wonderful cook.

Don owned and operated The Caperton Group for over 40 years. He was a renowned designer in the home design field, with numerous accomplishments and accolades.

Known for his love of cooking and delight in sarcasm, Don was hard working and well-traveled. His favorite activities included skiing, hunting, fishing, watching the Cowboys, and practical jokes.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vanda Caperton, and brother, John Caperton.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Caperton, and daughter, Tina Caperton. He is also survived by sister, Lori Caperton, nieces, Danielle Schaum (husband Elliott) and Lexi Nitishin, and aunts, Linda McMillion and Barbara Caperton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and dear lifelong friends.

Don will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Don's wishes were to forgo a formal service. A private memorial will take place in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, send a donation to your favorite charity.
