Donald Liebziet passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on October 9, 2024.

Don was born on November 12, 1958 to his parents Harry M. Liebziet and Donna May Liebziet in Jackson Michigan, who preceded him in death. As well as Harry's wife of many years, Ruth Ann Liebziet.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Sue Liebziet, as well as two daughters, Ashlee Liebziet (Peter Strickland) and Jessica Liebziet (Austin Tyler). He was blessed to have four grandsons, Cole Tyler, William Strickland, Dax Tyler and Weslee Strickland, who had become the lights of his life.

Don was also fortunate to have shared his life with loving siblings, Joy Wiseman (Tom Wiseman), Liz Brohl (Randy Brohl), Dave Sucharski, and the late Ed Sucharski (Kathy Sucharski).

He was also blessed to have many nieces and nephews who brought so much joy to his life.

Don had many friends throughout his life, most notably his dear friend Paul Stewart who was like a brother to him.

Don was known for his lust for life. Through his passion for breaking barriers, facing challenges and solving problems, he was privileged to enjoy a very successful career in IT with many notable organizations.

He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and campfire cooking, and was blessed to have traveled around the world. We also enjoyed numerous road trips throughout our country.

Don will be memorialized in a private ceremony in November.
