Douglas Dornback, 64, unexpectedly died Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from injuries sustained while working. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio September 6, 1951. Doug met his wife Laura at Lakewood High School and they were married November 29, 1969. Together they had 4 children: Jason, Daniel, Jonathan and Joshua. Doug had a passion for the outdoors and served as an assistant scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America for many years. Doug also served in the Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Laura Dornback, Carrollton; brother Geoffrey Dornback and wife Marijean, AZ; son Jason Dornback and wife Shirley, Carrollton; son Daniel Dornback and wife, Sarah, Farmers Branch; son Jonathan Dornback, Westminster, CO; son Joshua Dornback and his wife, Mattie, Centennial, CO; grandchildren Shawntee Neie and husband Brandon, Aiden, Kellan, Azure, Liam, and Ella, and great-grandchild Ethan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Leone Dornback and his brother, Robert Dornback. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at the Aria Chapel, 19310 Preston Rd., Dallas, TX 75252.
