Martha Eleanor Dowdy, 90, of Irving, Texas passed away on February 9, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Avery Dowdy. Martha is survived by sons, Martin and Van (Frances) Dowdy; siblings, Mary Ann Adams and Luddie Zapalac; sister-in-law, Helen Zapalac. There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at the Aria Memorial Chapel at 7:00 pm with a gathering beginning at 6:00 pm.
