EDWARD ROY DANIEL, AGE 91

Proceeded in death by Parents, Roy and Aneda Daniel; Wife, Jeanette; Son, Mitchell (Buster); Son-in-Law, David Fay

Survived by Daughter, Maryann Fay; Daughter-in-Law, Donita Daniel; Grandchildren, Daniel Fay and wife Christy, Tara Hocutt and husband Eric, and Carson Daniel. Great Grandchildren, Monica Avila and husband Roberto, Sophie and Maddie Fay, and Daniel Hocutt, plus extended family and friends all over the world.

Ed was also preceeded in death by partner Diantha Garner and was blessed to have Jessica and husband Jon Perrotto, Jacey Perrotto, Courteney Stinson, Melani Stinson, and Tracy Stinson in his life.

Ed worked for the Pinkerton Detective Agency before serving in the U.S. Army and the Dallas Police Department.

Grandmaster Daniel was an exceptional karate competitor and champion in his own right. He was also a willing participant in the full contact karate arena that came into being in the early 1970's. As Head Sensei at the Dallas School of Karate in downtown Dallas, he shaped many hearts, minds, and molded many fine champions. He received many honors, awards, and inductions from his beloved karate community.

Ed was an avid outdoorsman. His love of hunting and fishing lasted over 80 of his 91 years.

He will always remain alive and well in each of us that love him.
