Carl C. Farmer of Dallas passed away on January 10, 2014 unexpectedly of heart problems. He was born June 4, 1949 in Akron, Ohio. Carl received his engineering degree from Tufts University and spent his career in that field. Carl is survived by his wife, Shelia, his daughter, Alissa and his sister, Ellene Whitmore of Kansas City, Missouri. Carl never met a stranger, loved the ocean, Jimmy Buffet and the Dallas Cowboys. He was an avid marksman and in every sense of the word, a true gentleman and a kind soul. A private family gathering is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Operation Kindness in Carrollton, Texas or to a charity of ones choice.
