Our Precious Tracy Pederson died Monday October 21st surrounded by her family at Baylor Plano Hospital. A Loving wife, mother, sister and friend who knew the Lord and that he would be there with arms open to give her the peace and rest she so yearned. Born in Dallas, Texas Tracy was a long-time resident of Allen. Survived by her husband Glenn, son Nolan, daughter Kadee, brothers John, Wally and Frank Farris and their spouses. She was a sweet aunt and great aunt to numerous nephews and nieces who loved Aunt Tracy with all their hearts. Preceded in death by her mother Dorothy who was surely there with open arms and smile right beside our Lord, as well as her Incredible nephew Drew Farris. It gives us great comfort in knowing she is with Mom and Drew who will be watching over us all. Tracy struggled for many years with anxiety and depression, inherent in the family. She self-medicated with alcohol that in the end caused her life to be over at 55, too young. This disease along with the results of heavy smoking and inconsolable grief from the loss of her mother in April, ravished her tiny body. Denial is a powerful enemy in the battle of alcoholism for everyone involved. As a Family we feel it important to share her life in hopes that it brings awareness to anxiety and depression and to recognize the impact of self-medicating. In lieu of Flowers we ask that you make a donation in her name to any Charity that actively supports treatment for depression. A Private Memorial Service is pending. This tragic loss will forever change our lives. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
