Fassett, Andrew Harris Born April 7, 1984 in Wylie, Texas, passed October 25, 2013 unexpectedly from an illness. Andrew was a devoted boyfriend, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and dear friend. He was a 2003 graduate of Wylie High School. Worked full time for Care Flight and was a volunteer firefighter for Anna Fire Department. Andrew had also worked for Celina and Wylie Fire Departments, as well as, Lone Star, ETMC, Medic One and Guardian Ambulance Services.He was extremely proud to have been involved in aiding various departments during Hurricane Katrina and the East Texas wildfires. Preceded in death by grandparents James and Mary Howrey of Wylie and Walter and Gwen Budd of Dallas. Survived by his wife of 3 years Christie Cochren of Garland, parents Thomas and Elizabeth Fassett of Wylie, brother Aaron Fassett of Merit, sister Amy Rushing & husband Royce of Wylie, sister Angela Mahar & boyfriend Lonnie Batts of Merit, brother Albert Fassett of Wylie and sister Adrienne Fassett & fiance Kelly Gilmore of Pottsboro. Nieces and nephews: Paige, Peighton, Alexys, James, Addison, Timberlie, Chloe, Trenton, Kyra and Hanna. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Adored pets Clover and Butterscotch. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church from 5:30pm to 7:30pm with The Rosary beginning at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 31 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church beginning at 10am with reception to follow in the Parish Hall (972) 442-2765.
