Marjorie Diane Fought, 64, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Diane was born in Shawmut, Alabama on December 10, 1951, but has spent the majority of her life in Plano, Texas where she married and created a family. In 2005, Diane retired and spent the remainder of her life spoiling grandkids, bowling, playing canasta, and serving the Lord. Diane is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years Oran Daniel Fought II, two children (and spouse); Oran Daniel Fought III (Karen), Sheri Ann Diaz, six beloved grandchildren; Sterling, Annika, Tristen, Daniel IV, Valerie, and Joseph. Diane is also survived by four siblings: Mike Moncus, Shelia Moncus, Julienne Gore, and John Williams; her loving dog Pixie, dear friend Joe Diaz, as well as cherished extended family and friends. She will be missed by the Mustard Seed Class at Hunters Glen Baptist Church and by the Swinging Seniors at Plano Super Bowl. Diane is preceded in death by her mother Marjorie Sheppard Lewis. A graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery 3196 Bethel Rd.,Weatherford, TX 76087, Texas on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m., January 11th 2016. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at Hunters Glen Baptist Church 4001 Custer Rd, Plano, TX 75023. Flowers can be sent to the church for Marjories memorial service.
