On May 26, 2022 , Heaven welcomed the most beautiful, funny and loving woman in the world. Born on August 28, 1928, Franziska emigrated from Vienna, Austria in 1948 through Ellis Island. She had Movie Star looks, and was always dressed to the nines. She raised her three children while working many years for the Social Security Administration in Maryland. One of her proudest accomplishments was passing her exam to become a United States citizen. She was an excellent baker, seamstress and loved animals. Her favorite social activity was being a frequent visitor to Atlantic City Casinos. She never met a slot machine she didnt like! She spent many years volunteering at local hospitals and at the Liberty Road Senior Center in Randallstown. Her children are the late Alan Glass, daughter Eileen "Cookie" Tyrpak (John), and son Ron Murphy. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Nicholas Glass (Paige), Steven Berger (Brenna Helppie-Schmieder), Amy Berger (Tom Rainey), Taylor and Ryan Murphy, and two great grandchildren, Ava and Caroline Glass. Her beautiful smile, sense of humor and raising her arm while cheering "Woo-Hoo" for happy times will always be a happy memory by her family. A special thank you to her youngest son Ron, for his many years of love and devotion in taking care of our Mommy in his home. He never complained because every day, even to the end, she whispered how much she loved him and her family. Ron made sure she had Starbucks lemon loaf every morning with her coffee! If we had a nickel for every time she thanked us for being good children, we would be billionaires! Till we meet again dear Mom. xoxox
