Fred Alexander Emerson Sr. January 28, 1963 - April 11, 2023 Fred Alexander Emerson Sr. 60 went home to be with the Lord from the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Born January 28, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. He resided in Royse City, Texas where Fred and his wife of 43 years Tina ran a successful floral delivery business together. Fred served in the United States Army with the 4th Infantry Division in Ft. Carson, Colorado and did an overseas tour in Baumholder, Germany from 1981-1983. He loved spending time with his Grandchildren, long motorcycle rides, and had a passion for playing the guitar. He loved helping others in his community with whatever they needed help with. He was an extremely sweet soul. Survivors include his wife Tina Emerson of Royse City, Texas, Son- Fred Alexander Emerson Jr. of Kaufman, Texas, Daughter- Jennifer Emerson of Poetry, Texas, Son- Harvey Emerson of Royse City, Texas, Son- David Emerson of Boles Home, Texas, Grandson- Dominic Emerson (25), Granddaughter- Kelsey Emerson (21), Grandson- Dawson Emerson (17), Grandson- Dorian Patten (22), Grandson- Daniel Patten (19), Grandson- Marcell McCullough (16), Granddaughter- Brylee Emerson (14), Grandson- Damion Emerson (8), Granddaughter- Isabella Emerson (6), Granddaughter- Nova Emerson (2), Great Grandson- Arkyn Emerson (1), Great Granddaughter- Hazel Emerson (2), Great Granddaughter- Olivia Bockes (10mths), Brother- Roy Lee Dunn III of Royse City, Texas, Brother- John Dunn of Mesquite, Texas, Brother- James Dunn of Seagoville, Texas, Sister- Stacy Goodwin of Aubrey, Texas, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and in-laws all of whom Fred loved and adored. Fred was preceded in death by their two beautiful daughters- Melisa Emerson (1 day old), and Felicia Emerson (6 months old), Mother- Linda Ruth Green of Royse City, Texas, Father- Roy Lee Dunn Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Maternal Grandmother- Mattie Alberta Nunnally (Maw-Maw) of Garland, Texas, Maternal Grandfather- Fred Everett Nunnally. Memorial Service will be held on June 16, 2023, at 9689 S. FM 548 Royse City, Texas 75189, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
