Edwin T. Freeman, II, age 80, born October 12, 1933 and died May 4, 2014. Graduate of Highland Park High School, SMU and SMU Law School. A banker for most of his career, working at Guardian Savings and later Team Bank. Served in many capacities for SMU including as ATO Delta Epsilon chapter advisor from 1958 to 2000. Member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed his friends, family and his dogs. He will be missed as a friend, mentor, advisor, critic, and leader by the many men he met through the ATO house at SMU. He was known by many as funny, level-headed, serious, artistic, and sometimes, quirky, vain, and dapper, as well as honest and friendly to a fault. He is survived by sisters Patsy Kramer and Peggy Hall, numerous, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on May 15 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, 3821 University Blvd, Dallas, TX 75205.
