Karen French 60 years old passed away on November 4, 2013 at home with her family present in Dallas. She was born February 15, 1953 in Enid, Oklahoma to William Hugh Jones and Irma Geraldine Jones. She is survived by her husband, Bill French; her dog, Mr. Darcy; sons, Jeff Allenbaugh and wife Donna, Marty Freais and Finance Maria; daughter Rhonda Hauck and husband Jeff; her granddaughters, Megan and Lauren; grandsons Joshua, Brent, and Parker. Her sisters, Anne Bogard and her partner RC Nelson, Terry Sayles and husband Larry, and Kathleen Blanche; Brother, Nick Wavers; Uncle, Chester Ragsdale; 5 nephews, and 4 nieces. Karen grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma and moved to Dallas with son, Jeff, in 1979. Karen and her husband, Bill were together 21 wonderful years. They were able to travel many parts of the world. She had a gift for living life to the fullest. She was very outgoing and had an infectious laugh. She was loved by all that knew her. She was a friend of Bill W for the past 22 years. Services will be held at Springcreek Church 2660 Belt Line Rd, Garland, TX 75044 on Monday, November 18th at 7PM. If desired, memorial donations in Karens honor may be made to VNA Hospice.
