Jeremy Edward Fulbright, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2017 at the young age of 40 years. He was born to Edward Beaty Fulbright and Patricia Bolfing Fulbright on April 13, 1977 in Dallas, Texas. Jeremy was the first son, first grandson, number one in birth order, and number one in our hearts. You would have thought he was the first baby God ever created. Growing up, Zach, Jake, Jenny, and numerous cousins looked up to him and always knew they could count on him! His childhood was full of love. As toddlers, Jeremy and his best buddy, Kevin Hepfner, began conversing in their own language. Jeremy was the translator. That may have been a sign of things to come, because he and Kevin went through their lives with a bond few have the honor of experiencing. The common sentiment from those who loved Jeremy is that no matter how frustrating he could be, it was impossible to be angry with him. Only true friendship can be measured that way. Jeremy loved his brothers, Zach and Jake, with whom he worked hard and played harder. Whether they were shooting BB guns, skiing, playing street ball or engaged in a game of Spades the Fulbright boys were a force. When baby Jenny arrived, a softer side of them emerged and Jeremy became the ultimate protector of his brothers and sister. Besides being protective, the boys had a new victim to tease but it was all out of love! Lord knows, with four children, Patty and Ed became referees, negotiators, and when necessary, enforcers. They were amazing at their jobs and all their kids know how much they are loved. Jeremy spent five summers working at Camp T'Sungani where he was nicknamed "Gilligan" to thousands of campers, who would request to be in his group, his boat, or bus. The staff at T'Sungani were all high spirited, to put it mildly, but "Gilligan" was one of the very best. With his lean physique and trophy tan, he was one of the staff favorites too! Camp T'Sungani not only had an impact on thousands of staff and children, but a profound impact on Jeremy that remained with him throughout his life. Eventually, the fun days of working at Camp T'Sungani came to an end and Jeremy joined the brotherhood of Concho Construction Company. There he worked alongside his father and grandfather, and later, his two brothers. It was a cold February morning on a Concho jobsite, where Jeremy spotted the tiny black puppy, Ricky, who became his new best friend and never left his side. Jeremy was the ultimate son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had the biggest smile and an even bigger heart and could talk to anyone about a myriad of topics because he was well read, analytical, and persuasive. Although his entrance into Heaven happened way too soon, Grandmother Patsy is finally able to embrace her first grandchild, while Papa Gerald can now play Spades with his favorite opponent. Along with Grandmother Patsy and Papa Gerald, he is reunited with his Uncle Ricky, Grandfather Chief, and his Sainted Grandmother, Honeygram.
