Gail Ann Entringer, of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully, on June 7, 2026, after a two-year battle with cancer. She was much loved for her enthusiasm, optimism and willingness to help others. She was a great listener, a hard worker and a great organizer of people when tasks needed to be done.

Gail was born on September 25, 1953 in New York. She was raised in Westchester County, NY, and she graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1971. She earned her bachelors degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

Gail married her husband, Raymond “Chip” Entringer on June 13, 1992 and enjoyed nearly 34 years of marriage living in the Dallas TX suburbs of Carrollton and Plano. She worked as a Financial Analyst and eventually retired from Nortel Networks in 2008. She was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross and several church parish organizations and ministries (including leadership roles). She also enjoyed traveling and many vacations, including snow skiing in many western US destinations as well as ocean and river cruises in the Caribbean and Europe and Australia.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn D. Montgomery and Elizabeth F. Montgomery, as well as her sister, Carole Leininger.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond “Chip” Entringer, her sister Joan Bradt and her husband Greg (Denver CO), and Carole’s husband Jack (Port Orchard, WA). She is also survived by nieces (Karen Murphy of Chapel Hill NC and Charlene Bringhurst of North Pole, AK), nephews (JC Leininger of El Cajon CA and Sean Leininger of Mill Creek WA), their families and many dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church (5231 Meadowcreek Drive, Dallas, Texas 75248).
