Grayson Eddy Gardner Jr. was born July 5, 1929 and passed away peacefully on March 15, 2015 surrounded by family in his home in Farmers Branch.
Gray grew up in Rochester, New York and served in the Army at the end of WW II in the Occupation of Japan. He then worked for General Motors and Xerox as a design engineer moving to Texas in 1973. He retired from Xerox in 1992 and enjoyed life as a recreational glider pilot, red wine lover, master beef jerky maker, senior volunteer, world traveler and avid pool player teaching other seniors the secrets of the game. Gray is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean, his 2 sons Stephen and Jeffery, his sister Ann, 5 grandchildren; Eric, Kristy, Lindsay, Jeff, and Jessica, and 4 great grandchildren; Georgia, Victoria, Olivia and Stephen.
A memorial service will be held at Church of the Holy Communion, Dallas, Texas on March 27, 2015 at 2pm.
