Felisa Rashone Garmon, "Lisa", 47, of Irving, passed away on July 19, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born to the parents of Mae & J.C. Greer and Jerry & Jackie Garmon on February 8, 1967, in Dallas, Texas. Lisa graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in 1985. She was married to Bruce J. Steptoe and resided in Irving, Texas. Lisa worked at Taylor Publishing Company for 21 years. She was a very loving and strong woman. Lisa loved flowers and making baskets and giving gifts to show her love. Lisa is survived by four children: Greg "Ant" McCowan, Mia Steptoe, Julius Steptoe and Adrian Steptoe; two sisters, Terell N. Greer (Neeco) and Chunda Garmon Linnear; five brothers: James Greer (Kathy), Jerry Garmon Jr, Baron Greer, Bryan Greer (Dee), AJ Mathis, and one brother, Kenneth Green, who precedes her in death; nine nephews and eight nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin and special friends. Special Words from special aunt Ruby Kennedy & family Lisa was beautiful where beauty counts, inside. The soul is the most important thing to see when you look in the mirror! I believe my cousin realized this at an early age… One of the most beautiful personalities I've ever encountered will be missed. But not more than embraced by her heavenly Father! Be strong!
