Dan was born on January 12, 1953 in Dallas, TX to Dan & Christine Garvin. He passed away October 19, 2018 in Dallas at the age of 65 years. Dan loved the Lakewood Community where he was raised and continued to live there his entire life. An outdoors-man, he loved camping, grilling and entertaining. He was a humanitarian and had a passion for helping people. For over 25 years, Dan worked with the Mary Kay Ash company and was the drummer in the Jerry Ward Trio Band. For many years he worked in the Construction Trucking business as well as a Contractor in the Home Improvement & Renovation Industry. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 20 years, Mary; sister, Diana Burwell; niece, Lana Edwards; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & Friends; and his beloved dog family, Idgy, Roxy, Lady & Marley.

A Memorial service to celebrate Dan's life will be held Monday, November 12, 2018 at 1:00pm Winfrey Point, 950 E. Lawther Drive, Dallas, TX 75218. Please consider donating in honor of Dan to the SPCA or Operation Kindness in lieu of flowers.
