Priscilla Ann Garza "Prissy", 32 , of Dallas, TX, was granted her angel wings on August 21, 2014, from a life-long battle with cerebral palsy. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Priscilla had touched in so many ways throughout her short, yet very memorable life.Priscilla was born in Dallas on September 23, 1981. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School with honors in May of 2000. She was involved in the Special Olympics and received several medals in different categories including wheelchair racing. Her life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity. We cherished her and feel blessed to have been part of her life. That huge smile, and her strong spirit brought so much joy to her family.Although she was in a wheelchair , she gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved to sing and dance. She could spend hours listening to her Tejano music. Her idol was Selena and she knew every one of her songs by heart. She also was a lover of telenovelas, romantic comedies and karaoke.Priscilla is survived by her mother Diana Garza; sister Vanessa Gray; niece Penelope Gray; and other family and friends.A memorial service will be held at Aria Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
