Gayle Steer Covey

December 22, 1937 - October 2, 2026

Gayle was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.

Gayle received both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education from North Texas State University.

She went on to teach school for 50 years.

Gayle is proceeded in death by her parents, Avent (Pete) Steer and Madeline Steer, and granddaughter Bonnie Hudspeth.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The family requests that gifts or memorials be sent to the American Heart Association or The Parkinson's Foundation.
